CMU Student Chapter

The JIE CMU Student Chapter is a high-impact incubator where Jamaica’s next industrial revolution begins. We believe that true engineering excellence happens when diverse minds collide. While "Engineering" is in our name, Innovation is our language—and that language is spoken by every student driven to solve real-world problems.

We are a "hands-on" hub for those who want to move beyond the limited hours of a lab and into the reality of the industry. We are a home for Mechatronics and Industrial Engineering students to sharpen their technical grit, but our doors are wide open to the entire campus. Whether you are securing the future in Cyber Security, mastering global trade in Shipping, Logistics, and Customs, or exploring AI, there is a place for you here.

Our mission is to provide a safe, high-energy space to develop the "unsung experience" that industry leaders demand. Together, we are creating reliable, eco-friendly technologies and smarter systems to move Jamaica and the world forward.
